A history that has solid roots in a craft workshop that Giuseppe Cavallini with his brother Aquilino had in Varedo active since 1892

A workshop known for producing high quality furniture that is recognized with a diploma at the 2nd General Tricolor Exposition in 1925

The business activity began with Giuseppe Cavallini who in 1936 opened a warehouse-shop in Milan, Piazza Mentana No. 3,

bringing inside four walls the furniture that used to be displayed outdoors on the square.
1970s
The years from 1947 through the 1970s are full of ferment in every sector, and Design and furniture also play their part by representing Italian savoir-faire and good taste.
Carlo Cavallini, born in 1907, developed the business activity toward new and more ambitious goals, expanded and renovated the workshop in Varedo, Via Mazzini No. 3, and laid the groundwork for a new showroom in Varedo, Corso Milano No. 6.
1970s
At the same time, a new corporate logo is being studied.
1980s
In the 1980s, Cavallini Linea C participated, along with the most important companies in the industry, in several editions of the MIA (Monza International Furniture Exhibition), which was held at Villa Reale in those years.
1994
In 1994, on the initiative of Arch. Umberto Cavallini, the Xilo brand was officially presented at the Schubert Gallery in Milan, Via Montenapoleone 8.
'95 - '96
In 1995, at the "My House" exhibition in Milan, some pieces from the Xilo collection were presented for the competition
Later in 1996, Xilo limited edition products were presented at the Milan Furniture Fair.

and some pieces from the collection are participating in the selection for the prestigious XXVIII ADI Compasso d'Oro Award.
2013
Passion not only in conducting business but also in spreading a culture for living led Cavallini Linea C to be selected by Molteni & C in 2013 as a partner and sponsor of the "Living at the Ponti" exhibition at Villa Litta in Lainate.
Products designed in the 1950s by the great master of architecture Gio Ponti and reissued in limited editions by Molteni & C. are presented to the public.
2014
In 2014, the Monza and Brianza Chamber of Commerce recognized Cavallini Linea C as an Impresa Storica, a title conferable to companies with at least 50 years of uninterrupted activity.
For our enterprise, which moreover boasts more than 100 years of activity, this recognition was a source of pride and an incentive to continue in the future with the enthusiasm and competence that has always distinguished us.
2015
In 2015, Cavallini Linea C was inducted into the newly established Historic Enterprises Club.
2016
In 2016, with an enlargement of its corporate charter and the acquisition of the real estate company C&B Progetti Immobiliari s.r.l., Cavallini Linea C offers its clients a complete architectural design, renovation and furnishing service.
For the client, the undeniable advantage of having a single point of contact to design, renovate and furnish their home while optimizing time and costs.
2021
Our 100-year-old company has joined the Historical Enterprises of Lombardy Region.
A coveted recognition that follows one already received from the Monza and Brianza Chamber of Commerce in 2014.
For us, this welcome recognition is one more reason to face the new year with renewed energy in offering increasingly professional and personalized service.
The experience gained through years of activity and the inclusion in the corporate organizational chart of Arch. Diego Cavallini and Dr. Paolo Cavallini lay a solid foundation for guaranteed continuity and a constantly evolving history.

We received the Work Enterprise Award.
